Technical illustration - planet habitat

Technical Illustration Creation

This image was created to for a science publication.  It was a review of technologies available to utilise planet regolith to construct structures for habitation.

To create the infographic the client provided what was a well developed set of tables and images. They required only that the images be reworked for clarity and style.

The artwork was created in 3D initially in Blender.  The rendered models were  moved to  Photoshop where effects were composited.  Finally the images were transfered to Affinity Designer where final graphics and test were added.

We understand that when it comes to process design, every feature matters, no matter how small. That’s why we went above and beyond to created bespoke 3D models that capture the important details.  To keep costs resonable the NASA 3D model repositry was utilised and kit bashed for some elements.

We are committed to providing our clients with an image creation service that of the highest quality and showcases your equipment or process.
